English artist John Bond has created a name for himself as one of the prominent contemporary English landscape artists. Bond was born in 1945 and studied at the Norwich School of Art and The Central School of Art in London, where he developed his prodigious talent. The main theme of Bond's oil paintings is the natural beauty of East Anglia, France, and the Caribbean. Bond makes his landscapes unique with the incorporation of figures, which add a narrative element to his work as well as a dramatic focal point.
